INITIAL CONSULTATION
If you are considering psychotherapy, please contact me for an initial consultation. This is an opportunity for us to meet, explore the possibility of working together and for you to have a feel of how I work.
In the meantime, we will explore what brought you to therapy and what your expectations are. I will also let you know about my policy on confidentiality, fees, cancellations and appointment times.
This initial meeting carries no obligation on your part. If you decide that I am not the right person to work with you or if I believe that I may not have an specific expertise, I will be happy to refer you to a colleague.

ONLINE SESSIONS
I offer open ended, long term and short term counselling and psychotherapy. Once we agree to work together, we will be meeting online, once a week, every week, for 50 minutes at the same day and time.
It is natural that, when facing emotional difficulties, we will look for immediate relief for our problems. However, counselling and psychotherapy involve the exploration of feelings and thoughts during a certain period of time.
The weekly sessions promote a safe, structured and predictable environment that allow clients to let down of their familiar defenses and allow them to experience emotions that may be associated with current problems. The capacity to reflect on their own problems and the ability to experience these emotions promote better integration, maturity and a sense of being in control of one's life that may have been elusive in the past.
